Euan Heng was born in Oban, Argyllshire, Scotland. He completed undergraduate and post graduate studies at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee in 1975 and was awarded a research MA from RMIT University in 1995. Heng has exhibited extensively in Australia and abroad. He also has held many prestigious and senior academic appointments. His work is represented in major public and university museum collections in all states of Australia. including the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Queensland Art Gallery. Internationally, Heng's work appears in the collections of Hunterian Museum & Art Gallery and Stirling University, both in Scotland.
